Many parents are working from home or furloughed, so they are able to care for their young ones at home. But children of medical professionals and other essential personnel don’t have that option. They may feel that they have no options.

In this episode of Values with Shakeel, Jessica Collins, the Executive Director of the Longmont branch of the YMCA explains how her organization is stepping into the breach to help solve this problem. Hear her explain to Shakeel how the Y is jumping into their emergency child care program “with both feet,” and listen to her remarkably simple and humble request for how to support the operation. Or, you can donate to the YMCA here.
