A woman was arrested for crashing into a Longmont Police officer. It was later discovered that she was in possession of fentynal and narcotics.

On Wednesday, Longmont Police Officer Sheena Wilson pulled up behind a silver Toyota Tacoma stopped at a red light at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Main Street.

The driver of the Tacoma — later identified as Andrea Lindsley — put the car into reverse and rammed the front of Wilson's patrol car, according to the arrest affidavit.

Wilson stated in the affidavit that Lindsley "stepped out of the vehicle, then got back in and drove northbound on Main St."

Debris from the scene was collected and Wilson was transported to a nearby hospital for neck pain.

Lindsley was later located inside the Tacoma at an address in Denver. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered less than 4 grams of fentanyl and narcotics paraphernalia.

Lindsley's driving privileges had been revoked prior to the crash as a habitual traffic offender. She also had a felony arrest warrant.
