A man barricaded himself in a house for several hours Friday in central Longmont.

The incident took place on Pinon Court, off Ninth Avenue between Alpine and Pace streets. Some households were placed on shelter in place, but no one was injured during the 4.5-hour standoff.

According to a spokesperson for the Fort Collins police, Fort Collins detectives went to arrest Ronald Moyer, 52, who was in Longmont when the officers attempted to contact him. Moyer had a warrant out of Fort Collins for stalking, harassment and domestic violence, the spokesperson said.

Moyer barricaded himself in a Longmont house but was eventually taken into custody.
