Longmont Public Safety and the Boulder County Regional Bomb Squad are investigating a property at 729 17th Avenue.
The home was recently vacated and the former "occupants left behind some suspicious devices," according to the police.
The adjacent properties have been evacuated until the police determine whether or not the items pose a risk to the public.
Longmont Police are asking that people avoid the area until an "all clear" is posted.
