While walking her dog, a Longmont woman narrowly avoided being kidnapped.

On Tuesday, a woman was walking her dog near the corner of Palladio Court and Raphael Place when she was approached by a four-door silver vehicle with two males inside.

The suspects asked the woman if she wanted to see a puppy, attempting to lure her inside the vehicle.

Next, the driver of the vehicle, suspected to be a 5’6” Hispanic male wearing a black t-shirt, at the time, grabbed the woman’s arm. Her dog bit the suspect and the man released his grip on the woman, leaving her uninjured.

The suspects fled the scene.

According to Sgt. Matt Cage from the Longmont Police Department, the woman identified the car as an older model silver vehicle. Police do not have license plates or any other information about the vehicle or suspects at this time, however, the incident is still under investigation.

If anyone has any additional information about the case, please contact Sgt. Matt Cage with the Longmont Police Department at 303-651-8520.
