The Longmont Police were called to First National Bank of Omaha, or FNBO, on Monday around 2:14 p.m. The call indicated that the bank was being robbed.

A 26-year-old man approached a bank teller and slid a note across the counter. The man was described as wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a knit winter mask and dark sunglasses. He was said to be carrying a green and black duffle bag.

The note stated that he wanted $5,000 in cash. The teller gave the man the money and he left.

No weapon was displayed during the interaction.

The police later discovered the man coming out of another business in the 2200 block of Main St. The man was arrested without incident, according to the police.

The police did not find a weapon when the man was arrested but were able to recover the money taken from the bank.
