DEATH
On February 17, 2023, Longmont police responded to the 1100 block of Sherman Street on a medical call. Upon arrival, we learned an adult male was deceased in his home. The investigation did not reveal anything suspicious and the deceased was released to family to be taken by a funeral home.
FRAUD
On 02/17/2023, at approximately 1500 hours, an officer took a fraud report from the 1000 block of Main Street.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 2/17/2023 at approximately 1629 hours, officers responded to a domestic violence incident in the 2400 block of Main Street. A report was taken.
WARRANT ARREST
On 02/17/2023, at approximately 1715 hours, an officer contacted a wanted party in the 2200 block of Main Street. An adult male was arrested and transported to jail.
WARRANT ARREST
On 02/17/2023, Longmont police officers were dispatched to 1300 block of Francis Street on a report of a violation of protection order. The responding officers learned that there were two active outstanding warrants for the reporting party's arrest. Upon contact, officers placed the male subject into custody on the warrants.
AUTO THEFT
On 02/17/2023, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 800 block of Francis Street on the report of an auto theft. An adult male was identified as the suspect.
THEFT
On Friday, 02/17/23 a Longmont resident reported a theft in the 1400 block of E. 3rd Avenue. There are no investigative leads.
SHOPLIFT
On February 15, 2023, Longmont police responded to the 700 block of 9th Avenue for a shoplifting incident. A juvenile male was cooperative with a business manager and waited for police arrival. The juvenile was referred to a justice program.
WARRANT ARREST
On February 16, 2023, Longmont police performed a welfare check on an occupied vehicle. The driver was found to have a municipal warrants for his arrest. The adult male was brought before the municipal judge to appear in his case. The case is cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Thursday, February 16, 2023, officers responded to the 1500 block of Main Street for a protection order violation. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.
WARRANT ARREST
On Thursday, February 16, 2023, at approximately 1200 hrs, Longmont police were called to the 2200 block of E Ken Pratt Boulevard for a female who was reportedly hiding things in her shopping bag and tampering with barcodes on products. Upon contact, the female was found to have several warrants and was in possession of controlled substances. This case is cleared by arrest.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On 02/16/2023 at about 1430 hours, Longmont police conducted an outside agency assist in the area of the 200 block of E. 8th Avenue. A report was generated.
SUSPICIOUS SITUATION
On 02/17/2023, the Longmont Police Department responded to a call in the 800 block of Lashley Street. A female was hit by a truck that subsequently left the scene. The female had no injuries. There are no leads at this time and a report was taken.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On Friday, 02/17/2023, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Goss Drive and E 4th Avenue in reference to a possible trespass of a garage. A 69-year-old female victim was contacted on scene.
MISSING PERSON
On Friday, 02/17/23, a report was taken in the 1300 block of Charles Drive in reference to a missing person. The case is closed as the missing person returned home.
AUTO THEFT
On Friday February 17th, 2023 Longmont officers were dispatched to an auto theft in the 300 block of Main Street. A report was taken.
