SHOPLIFT 

Police on Feb. 1 responded to the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard in reference to shoplifting. 

THEFT 

A report was taken Feb. 2 in reference to a theft that occurred in the 2100 block of Main Street. The case is under investigation.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD 

On Feb. 2 at 1408 hours, police responded to the 200 block of Main Street in reference to possible possession of child pornography. This case is under investigation.

THEFT 

An employee of a Colorado Springs business on Feb. 2 reported a theft in the 1400 block of East Third Avenue. There are no investigative leads.

MISSING PERSON 

On Feb. 2 at approximately 1745 hours, police were dispatched to the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard in reference to a runaway juvenile.

SHOPLIFT 

Police on Jan. 26 investigated shoplifting that occurred in the 500 block of South Hover Street.

BURGLARY 

Officers on Feb. 1 responded to the 1000 block of Tony Place for a report of a suspicious man. A  man was arrested for burglary, trespassing and other related charges. The case is cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE 

Officers on Feb. 1 responded to the area of East Fifth Avenue and Dickson Street for a report of a disturbance. A woman and man were contacted.

WARRANT ARREST 

Police on Feb. 1 in the 1000 block of South Hover Street contacted a man with an outstanding warrant. Cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT 

Police on Feb. 1 investigated a motor vehicle theft that occurred in the 1200 block of Pace Street.

MENACING 

Police on Feb. 1 responded to the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard for felony menacing. This case is cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION 

Police on Feb. 2 received a report of fraud in the 4400 block of Redmond Drive. 

CHILD 

Officers on Feb. 1 responded to the 1400 block of Pinewood Court on a medical call. A child investigation was started and is ongoing.

FRAUD 

A resident of the 1500 block of Donovan Place on Feb. 1 reported forged checks were presented on her bank account. There are no viable leads.

DEATH 

On Feb. 1 at approximately 2200 hours, officers responded to the 1400 block of South Collyer Street in reference to a person with medical issues. The person was pronounced deceased of natural causes.

SEX ASSAULT 

On Feb. 1 at approximately 2315 hours, an officer took a report of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in May 2019 in the 1000 block of Townley Circle. The case is open and under investigation.

FOLLOW-UP 

Police on Feb. 2 began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

DISTURBANCE 

Police on Feb. 2 received a report of a road rage incident on southbound U.S. 287. The caller reported the driver of a silver-colored Honda Pilot was cursing at her and throwing things at her vehicle. The suspect vehicle turned off before officers could make contact, and could not be located.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT 

Animal Control on Feb. 2 received a video of a dog barking in the 1500 block of Twin Sisters Drive. The evidence was not enough to issue a summons and the dog owner was warned.

FOLLOW-UP 

Police on Feb. 1 began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

BURGLARY 

Officers on Feb. 2 responded to the 100 block of Third Avenue in reference to a burglary committed by an unknown suspect.

MISSING PERSON 

A report was taken Feb. 2 in the 1900 block of Warren Avenue in reference to a missing person. The case is closed.

DISTURBANCE 

On Feb. 2 at approximately 1815 hours, officers responded to the 1900 block of Collyer Street in reference to a suspicious situation.
