TRAFFIC STOP

On Saturday February 13th, 2021, Longmont Police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of 4th Avenue and Emery Street. The vehicle immediately fled the area at a high rate of speed, disregarding traffic control devices and other vehicles, posing an immediate threat to public safety. The vehicle was located near 6th Avenue and Martin Street and the driver was located nearby after running from officers and breaking into a citizen's vehicle. The 35 year old male driver was found to be a suspect in several other motor vehicle theft and motor vehicle tresspass cases. The male's charges included felony vehicular eluding, two counts of aggravated first degree motor vehicle theft, reckless driving, two counts of first degree criminal tresspass of a vehicle, unauthorized use of a financial transaction device, theft of approximately $2,000 and criminal mischief. The driver was released from the police department with a felony summons, as the Boulder County Jail refused to lodge him.

ASSAULT

On February 11, 2021, Longmont officers fielded a cold report of an assault. Several individuals were contacted. No charges at this time.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, 2/12/2021, officers were dispatched on a call of a disturbance involving an adult male and an adult female in the 2200 block of Pratt St. The adult male and adult female were taken into custody.

DISTURBANCE

On February 12, 2021, Longmont police officers were dispatched to a driving complaint from the 3000 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd. Several adults were contacted; case is cleared by summons.

WARRANT ARREST

On Friday, 02/12/2021, at 2309 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Nelson Road and Ken Pratt Boulevard.

MENACING

On 02/12/2021, Longmont police responded to the 600 block of Peck Drive in reference to a menacing. Multiple adult parties gave conflicting stories and nobody wished to press charges. The parties were separated.

BURGLARY

On 02/13/2021 Longmont Police took a report of a possible burglary of a residence in the 600 block of Deerwood Drive Police collected the available information and a report was taken.

THEFT

On Saturday, February 13, 2021, Longmont Police Officers responded to a theft in the 1000 block of S Hover St. There are no suspects, a report was taken.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On February 13, 2021, around 1820 hrs, Longmont Police responded to the 4400 block of Redmond Drive on report of a domestic incident. A report was taken.

SHOPLIFT

On 2/13/2021 Longmont Police Department received a call for service in the 2200 block of Main St., Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado in reference to a shoplift. Information was obtained and a report was generated.
