DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/31/2022, Longmont police responded to the 600 block of Peck Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. An adult female reported an adult male was harassing her. The adult male was arrested for domestic violence. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On December 31, 2022, at approximately 1140 hours, Longmont officers responded to a disturbance in the area of 5th Avenue and Main Street. An adult male was contacted. Cleared by arrest.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On December 31, 2022, the Longmont Police Department investigated a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian which occurred in the 2200 block of Main Street. An adult male was issued a summons for careless driving resulting in injury.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont man was bitten by his girlfriend's dog while trying to pick up a piece of dropped pizza in the 200 block of Cardinal Way. The dog has been placed on quarantine at the Humane Society.

ROBBERY

On 01/01/2023, at approximately 0046 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Zlaten Drive for an armed robbery. A perimeter was set and a K9 track was attempted, but no suspects were found. This case is closed due to lack of suspect leads.

DUI

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Longmont police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ken Pratt Boulevard and County Line Road. A male driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

DUI

On January 1, 2023, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Venice Street. An adult male was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

ASSAULT

On 01/01/2022, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of an assault. A report was taken. Case status: Closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 01/01/2023, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Grant Street on a report of a domestic incident. An adult female was contacted and arrested. Case Status: Cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On 1/1/23, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 800 block of Summerhawk Drive. An adult female was issued a summons.

CHILD

On Sunday 01/01/2023 officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of 14th Avenue to a juvenile female who was assaulted. An arrest was made.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 01/01/2023, a Longmont police officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of E Mountain View Avenue and Pace Street. During the contact, the officer learned that there was an active outstanding warrant for the driver's arrest. The driver was taken into custody on the warrant.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

On Sunday January 1st, 2023, Longmont police responded to a dog bite in the 300 block of Columbine Place. The owner was issued a citation.

THEFT 1909

On 1/1/2023, Longmont police responded to the 4300 block of Bella Vista Drive in reference to an attempted catalytic converter theft. There are no suspects at this time.

DISTURBANCE

On 01/01/2022, officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 2300 block of Spotswood Street on the report of a disturbance. A report was taken. Case status: Closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, officers responded to the 800 block of Summer Hawk Drive on a report of a domestic incident. An adult female was contacted and this investigation is ongoing.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog while trying to break up a dog fight at MacIntosh Lake. The dog has been placed on home quarantine.

WARRANT ARREST

On January 1, 2023, an adult female was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Sunday, January 1, 2023 Longmont police responded to 50 block of 19th Street for a disturbance. An arrest was made.

SEX ASSAULT

On Sunday, January 1, 2023 Longmont officers investigated a sex assault in the 1600 block of Main Street. A report was taken.

DISTURBANCE

On Sunday, January 1, 2023, at approximately 1904 hours, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in Roosevelt Park in the 900 block of Longs Peak Avenue involving an adult male and an adult female. Officers were not able to develop probable cause for an arrest at the scene. Additional follow up will be conducted.
