DEATH
On 01/30/22 at about 2352 hours, officers and EMS/FD personnel responded to the 2200 block of Pratt St for a 72-year-old male that was not responsive. Life saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful. The male was pronounced dead on 01/31/22 at 0037 hours. The cause of the death was determined to be natural causes.
THEFT
On January 31, 2022 at 0300, Longmont Police investigated a theft in the 1200 block of Lanyon Lane. A female victim reported several items stolen from her dwelling. A report was taken and the case is open pending investigative leads.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 1/21/2022, officers responded to the 1000 block of E Longs Peak Ave referencing a domestic incident. The case is open.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 01/31/2022, it was confirmed that an arrestee from Longmont Police Case #2022-0587 was charged with a misdemeanor version of Violation of Bond Conditions, rather than the appropriate felony statute. A new arrest warrant has been obtained listing the appropriate charges, and the case will be re-filed as a felony. The case is closed.
