FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 800 block of South Sherman Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On July 29, 2021, the Longmont Police department received a report of an alleged domestic violence assault, which occurred in the 1200 block of Baker St. An adult male allegedly strangled an adult female with whom he had an intimate relationship. This case is under investigation.
SHOPLIFT
On Thursday, 07/29/21, an employee of a Longmont, CO business reported a theft in the 300 block of S. Hover St. There are no investigative leads.
SHOOTING
On 7/29/2021, officers responded to the area of Alpine St. on a report of a possible shooting. An adult male stated he was driving when an unknown vehicle drove beside him shot at his bumper. After investigation, casings and slugs were found and booked for forensic processing. At this time, no suspect were identified.
MENACING
On 07/26/2021, officers investigated a felony menacing in the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave. After investigation, an adult male was arrested and transported to jail.
ARSON
Longmont Fire responded to a reported vehicle fire with extension to the structure in the 1800 block of Hennington Ct. Fire was contained to the vehicle with minimal extension to the structure. After investigation, it is determined this is a non-criminal fire likely caused from a mechanical issue in the vehicle.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at approximately 1410 hours, Longmont Police came upon a crash in the 800 block of Main St. Officers noticed a man running from the scene and citizens in pursuit. Two men from Larimer County were arrested for multiple charges. This case is cleared by arrest.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 07/24/2021, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Main St. on the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed multiple adult subjects were in an altercation. A report was taken.
VICIOUS DOG
A Longmont man was bitten by his dog in the 1900 block of Meadow Dr. The dog has been placed on in-home quarantine.
SHOTS HEARD
On 07/29/2021, at approximately 0126 hours, officers were dispatched to shots heard in the 2000 block of Copper Peak Ln., City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On July 29, 2021, Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of Pratt St. on the report of a domestic incident. An adult male was arrested.
CHILD
On 07/29/21, officers took a phone call reference a child issue that occurred in the 1000 block of Sunset St. The case was referred to detectives.
DUI
On July 29, 2021, officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of S. Bowen Street and Ken Pratt Blvd. One adult male was contacted and arrested for DUI related charges. Case cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 29, 2021, around 1530 hours, Longmont Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 900 block of Main St. An adult male was taken into custody on a protection order violation.
DISTURBANCE
On 07/29/2021, Longmont officers responded to the 600 block of Teal Cir. reference a disturbance.
VICIOUS DOG
On Thursday, July 29, 2021, at about 1942 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Trail Ridge Road on a report of a vicious dog. Upon arrival, officers found a dog had ran out from a residence and jumped on a juvenile female. An adult female was issued a summons for an aggressive animal.
