DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, July 30, 2021, officers took a telephone report of a possible domestic violence incident which occurred in 2016. An investigation was conducted and report was generated.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 07/27/21 at approximately 1558 hrs, Lafayette PD began working a domestic violence case that turned into charges for Domestic Violence/Assault/Kidnapping. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Lafayette PD requested a K9 to assist with the search as it was reported he was armed with a handgun. Sgt. Sawyer and K9 Rudi assisted with a K9 track. K9 Rudi tracked through a neighborhood and located the suspect hiding in bushes along Hwy 287. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail by Lafayette PD after a medical clearance at the hospital. Report for informational purposes only.

DUI

On July 30, 2021 around 2040 hrs, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Quail Rd. on report of a crashed vehicle. An adult female was taken in to custody on a DUI.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog at Roosevelt Park. Dog was not located for quarantine.

CHILD

On July 31, 2021, Longmont Police responded to a child abuse call in the 2200 block of 17th Ave. A report was taken.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business in the 200 block of Lashley Street reported a theft of merchandise by an unknown female. There are no investigative leads at this time.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, July 31st, 2021, officers responded to the 1700 block of Sunlight Dr on a report of a domestic incident. An adult male was arrested.

AUTO THEFT

On Saturday July 31st, 2021, Longmont Police officers were dispatched to an auto theft in the 500 block of Main St.

THEFT

On Saturday July 31st, 2021, Longmont Police were dispatched to a theft in the 1300 block of Dry Creek Road.
