TRAFFIC STOP

On 06/17/2022, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of 19th Avenue and Main Street. The vehicle eluded the officer and drove recklessly leaving the area. Case under investigation

THEFT 

On 06/17/2022, officers took a report of a theft in the 1400 block of Kimbark Street.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On June 17, officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Denver Avenue on a report of a domestic incident between an adult male and an adult female. An adult male was arrested for harassment and a violation of a protection order.

DUI 

On 06/18/2022 the Longmont Police contacted an adult female for a traffic offense in the area of 15th Avenue and Main Street. The female was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and was taken into custody without incident. The female was booked, issued a county summons and later transported to the Addiction Recovery Center (ARC).

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont woman was bitten by her cat while playing in the 400 block of Bowen. The cat was placed on home quarantine.

SHOOTING 

On Saturday, June 18, Longmont Police officers responded to the 1100 block of Lashley Street on the report of a male shooting a gun. A thirty-seven year old male was later contacted and arrested on charges and outstanding warrants.

AUTO THEFT 

On Saturday June 18, Longmont Police received a report of auto theft in the 10000 block of County Line Road.

SEX ASSAULT 

On 06/16/2022. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a suspicious situation by phone. Longmont Emergency Communications (LEC) advised an adult female was calling in to report her granddaughter was being sexually assaulted by her father-in-law. The allegations were unfounded. Case closed.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 06/16/2022 an officer was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Whitehall Drive. The vehicle was a recovered steal. The case is closed.

CIVIL 

On 06/17/2022 a Longmont Police officer was assigned a civil issue by phone. Longmont Emergency Communications advised an adult male was wanting to report his ex-wife used their child as leverage to financially victimize him. The case is open.

HARASSMENT

PRESS RELEASE: On June 17, officers responded to a harassment in the 200 block of Golden Rod Court. The incident is still under investigation.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On Friday, 6/17/2022, officers responded to a hit and run crash at East Ken Pratt Boulevard. The case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 06/18/2022 Longmont Police officers responded to the 100 block of Boston Avenue for a park check.

SHOPLIFT 

On June 18, Longmont Police responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on report of a theft. A report was taken.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 06/18/2022 officers were dispatched to the area of Mountain View Avenue and Main Street on a domestic incident. Report was taken.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, June 18, Longmont Police responded to the 1200 block of Button Rock Drive, for a domestic situation. An arrest was made.

HARASSMENT

On 06/16/2022 Longmont Police Department officers responded to the 1700 block of Sunset Street reference a harassment.
