TRAFFIC STOP
On 05/12/2023, at approximately 2138 hours, an officer attempted a traffic stop in the area of Preston Dr and Abbey Dr. The vehicle eluded and the vehicle was abandoned nearby. An adult female was located and was arrested for active warrants, case is still under investigation.
DUI
On 05/13/2023 the Longmont police contacted a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Ken Pratt Blvd. and S. Sherman St. The adult male driver of the vehicle was contacted and upon further investigation was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver unsuccessfully resisted officers' efforts to place him into custody, and he was transported directly to the Boulder County Jail.
SHOPLIFT
On 05/13/2023 at 1226 hrs. a Longmont Police officer was dispatched to 457 Main St. on a shoplift. Longmont Emergency Communications advised an adult female was reporting an unknown male came into the UP-N Smoke store and took several items.
BURGLARY
On 05/11/2023 at 0846 hrs. a Longmont Police officer responded to 520 Main St. on a report of a burglary. An adult female opened her store and believed someone had been inside and the store had not been cleared yet.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A Longmont man was walking his dog, unrestrained, in the area of 18th Ave and Cook Ct. A summons has been issued.
VICIOUS DOG
A UPS driver was bitten by a dog in the 5000 block of Retreat Cir. The dog has been placed on bite quarantine.
SHOPLIFT
On Friday, May 12th, 2023, officers responded to the 1800 block of Hover St on a shoplift. An adult male stole $50 worth of merchandise and left pior to officers' arrival. This case will be closed due to lack of suspect leads.
TRAFFIC STOP
On May 12th 2023 Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and Mountian View Avenue. Drug paraphernalia was located inside of the vehicle and an adult female was issued a summons.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Saturday, 05/13/2023 at approximately 0615 hours, Longmont Police responded to the report of a domestic violence incident in the 000 block of Denver Wy. This case was cleared with an arrest.
THEFT
On 05/13/2023 at 0750 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a theft report. Longmont Emergency Communications advised an adult male was working maintenance in the parking lot at 2130 Main St. An adult male suspect stole his leaf blower.
DISTURBANCE
On 05/13/2023 at 0920 hrs. I, Ofc. Carter, responded to 2535 Sunset Dr. apartment O-314 on a report of yelling and screaming coming from the apartment. Longmont Emergency Communications advised two adult witnesses from building N could hear the yelling.
TRAFFIC STOP
On 05/13/2023, officers with the Longmont Police Deparment conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Main St., an adult male was contacted and arrested.
INFORMATION
On 051323, officers responded to the 600 block of E 4th Ave reference a medical assist involving an adult female. A report was taken for informational purposes.
