On 05/30/2022, Longmont Police Department officers responded to the 1900 block of Collyer Street for a welfare check. A male adult was later taken into custody.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Saturday 05/28/2022 officers were dispatched to the report of an assault at the 1400 block of Kay Street. A report was taken.
DISTURBANCE
On Saturday 05/28/2022 officers were dispatched to a family disturbance at the 1700 block of Meadow Street. A report was taken.
ASSAULT
On 05/30/2022, Longmont Police officers responded to a disturbance in the 0000 block of Valentine Lane. Multiple parties were contacted and a police report was taken. No charges have been filed at this time.
DEATH
On 5/30/2022, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of East 8th Avenue for a report of an unresponsive party. Upon arrival Paramedics determined the party was deceased. The event was investigated and a report was completed.
SHOOTING
On 05/30/2022 Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Western Sky Circle regarding an illegal discharge of a firearm. A report was taken.
DEATH
On 05/30/2022 Longmont police officers responded to Jewel Street on a party not conscious and not breathing. Longmont Emergency Communications (LECC) was on the phone with the reporting party advising the subject was cold to the touch and possibly beyond help.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Monday May 30, Longmont Police officers responded to a reported domestic incident in the 20 block of South Gay Street. A male party was arrested.
MENACING
On 05/30/2022, officers were dispatched to the area of Hover Street and Bent Way on a menacing. An arrest was made.
VICIOUS DOG
Two dogs got into a fight after meeting on a walk in the area of Pike Road and Clover Creek Drive. The owners handled the vet bill between themselves.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On May 29, officers took a domestic violence report in the 100 block of Bowen Street. The incident is being investigated.
DISTURBANCE
On Sunday, May 29, officers responded to the 1200 block of South Hover Street for a disturbance. An investigation was conducted and one party was issued a summons. Case is cleared by arrest, a summons has been issued.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 05/30/2022, officers with the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of 17th Avenue and Lashley Street. An arrest was made.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On 05/30/2022, the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of Linden Street and Sweeney Place in reference to an Outside Agency Assist. A stolen trailer was recovered, and the owner was notified. A report was completed.
VICIOUS DOG
A Longmont resident's dog got in a fight with another dog. The aggressor dog owner was issued a summons.
BURGLARY
On Monday, May 30, officers were contacted by a business owner in the 500 block of Main Street regarding a burglary to their business. Unknown suspects entered the business during the early morning hours and took cash.
WARRANT ARREST
On Monday, May 30, officers were dispatched to an adult male trespassing in the 1600 block of Main Street. Upon contacting the male, it was discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was unable to post bond and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Monday, May 30, Longmont Police recovered a stolen vehicle out of Greeley Colorado in the 400 block of South Martin Street.
DISTURBANCE
On Monday, May 30, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Coffman Street on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival officers found an altercation occurred between two adult females. One of the females was issued a summons for harassment into Longmont Municipal Court.
