The Boulder County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in the 6100 block of Baseline Rd. on Sept. 13. The man allegedly grabbed a girl as she was walking along a nearby trail. The girl was able to kick and push the man away while screaming for help, the news release stated.

Law enforcement officers searched the trail looking for a white man around 20-30 years old who was wearing a hoodie and tan pants as described by the girl.

Officers discovered the man in the area and arrested him. He is charged with Third-Degree Assault (M1), False Imprisonment (M2), and Child Abuse (M1).

Officials believe the girl may not be the only victim and have begun an investigation. They are asking for other victims or witnesses to come forward with any additional information.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Eric Robinson with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office at 303-441-4822, or via email at: erobinson@bouldercounty.gov.
