Officers respond to shooting that damaged one Longmont business

Broken glass and shell casings were found at the scene.

On Tuesday afternoon, officers with the Longmont Police Department, or LPD, were called to a scene where locals reported a shooting in the 20 block of Ninth Avenue.

When officers arrived at a local business at approximately 3:15 p.m., the property owner led officers to look at damage to the north side of the building where glass from the second floor of the building was found.

Upon investigation, police also found shell casings. 

According to Robin Ericson, the communications and marketing manager of LPD, there are no investigative leads for this case.
