Over the last two years, Representative Karen McCormick and her Democratic colleagues in the Colorado General Assembly have passed significant legislation which has moved our state forward. Her steadfast leadership and commitment to the community are to be admired. I am proud to call her my State Representative and am thankful for her hard work. She has responsibly served the people of Longmont and Boulder County in House District 11.

When the threat of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade was looming in early 2022, Representative McCormick worked hard to quickly codify reproductive freedom and choice into Colorado statute. This proactive leadership paid off in June when Roe was overturned yet millions of women across Colorado retained their reproductive rights.

In a time when the foundations of our democracy are under attack, Representative McCormick steps up to protect and defend the right for every eligible person to cast a vote, and to ensure election integrity and security. Now more than ever it is important to elect pro-democracy leaders like Karen who will speak up to denounce conspiracy theories and encourage voter participation. Our system of government works best when a multitude of voices are heard and counted.

Please join me in supporting Karen McCormick on your November ballot.
