On July 7, 1st American Insurance Agency, located at 2330 Main St., merged with The Banks Agency Inc, in Golden and Alliance Insurance in Arvada. The new partnership then joined with Evertree Insurance Services LLC. to provide more services and benefits to customers.

“Our growth is a testament to the industry’s need for a more modern approach to the insurance experience. We are thrilled to establish Evertree’s Mountain Region with the addition of such high performing agencies, their leadership and talent,” Evertree CEO Alex Tuff said in a prepared statement.

1st American Insurance Agency provides personal and commercial insurance for clients all over Colorado although its focus has been Longmont and the surrounding area, said Steven Pierce owner and founder of 1st American Insurance Agency.

The merger will allow 1st Amercian’s staff to benefit by being part of a larger national brokerage. Those benefits include having a full human resources department, improved IT support and more, Pierce said.

“As an owner along with my new partners @ Evertree Insurance Services Mountain States LLC Jeremy McCallum, Bob Banks and Bill Johnson we will enjoy many benefits of being part of a national broker.  Mostly it will mean that each of us will have to wear fewer hats and be much more able to focus on our core business of insurance,” Pierce said.

Pierce will lead the Mountain Region for Evertree.

According to Pierce, customers should not see any visible changes to the services and products currently offered which includes insurance for businesses, cars and homes. However, over the next few months, Pierce expects the aligned focus will expand its market as well as expand the services offered to clients.

“Evertree’s unique value proposition across technology, partnerships and culture made these acquisitions a perfect fit for all three firms,” Pierce said in a statement to BizWest. “We could not be more excited to help continue to build the national expansion of the Evertree platform.”
