Entrepreneurs in Longmont looking for help to build, launch, and grow their early-stage innovative startups are now in luck as the Innovate Longmont accelerator program is now accepting applications.
The announcement was made via a press release sent by the Longmont Economic Development Partnership.
The personalized accelerator program will, according to Sergio R. Angeles, director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, provide local entrepreneurs with a unique curriculum, mentors, connections, support, and injections of capital.
"Throughout the program, entrepreneurs will go through a series of educational modules, from customer empathy interviews to financial modeling. They'll also have the opportunity to connect with their mentors during the process. And after completing certain milestones, entrepreneurs may be able to receive injections of capital," said Angeles.
In addition, Angeles stated that the program has made partnerships with organizations to provide further resources.
"We've partnered with global organizations such as IBM, Google, Hubspot for Startups, and local organizations such as the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce and more," said Angeles.
Administration of the program is, according to the press release, a public-private partnership between the following Advance Longmont Partners: Longmont EDP, City of Longmont, TinkerMill, Boulder County SBDC, Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, and Startup Longmont.
Entrepreneurs interested in applying to the Innovate Accelerator program can be done via the Innovate Longmont website. Applications are accepted on a rolling admission basis throughout the year.
The Innovate Accelerator is a program under Innovate Longmont, a local startup platform for innovative and transformative ideas.
