Cyclists in eastern Boulder County are invited to attend a virtual meeting Wednesday to talk about the future of bicycle infrastructure.
The meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. will be held via Zoom and is open to the public. Registration is required.
The meeting is geared toward bicycle riders who live east of 75th Street, although anyone is welcome to attend, according to a Boulder County news release.
The county deputy director of transportation planning, the bicycle planner, regional trails manager and the city of Lafayette’s transportation engineer will give presentations followed by questions from attendees.
The presentation will focus on:
- The county’s Transportation Master Plan and Vision Zero, whose goal is to achieve zero deaths and serious injuries on roads by 2035.
- The RTD Trail Plan
- Upcoming changes to Isabelle Road at the intersection of U.S. 287
- The East County Line Road Master Plan
- Lafayette’s upcoming Multimodal Transportation Plan and upcoming projects.
