Chalk Art Street Fair held a ribbon cutting at Bin 46 on Friday, September 29, 2017, to celebrate joining the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC).

Eric Kittelberger, LACC Board of Director, presented Beryl Durazo, Executive Director at Firehouse Art Center, and Candy Campbell of Bin 46, with a plaque to commemorate the ribbon cutting.

"Thanks everyone for coming out to the ribbon cutting, we really appreciate it," said Durazo. "This is an event produced by Bin 46 to benefit the Firehouse Art Center. It's going to benefit a lot of local artists. We're going to have up to 40 artists."

"This is a great partnership and collaboration where two organizations can get together and do something of this magnitude in their first year, I think it is pretty impressive for both of us to say 'wow, we did this'," said Campbell. "It is exciting for Longmont too because it is something new. And for us, I really appreciate having so many community partners to work with."

The Chalk Art Street Fair is Saturday, September 30th from 10-6 PM, and Sunday, October 1st from 10-5 PM. For more information, please visit the Chalk Art Street Fair website.
