Downtown Longmont hosts Wine Walk

Businesses throughout downtown Longmont will offer samplings of wine from around the world on Sept. 28 from 4:30-7 p.m. Participants can hop from business to business to enjoy a sip while learning what the downtown shops have to offer.

The event is designed to promote downtown Longmont’s small retail businesses and entice customers to explore businesses they have never been in before, said Colin Argys, marketing and event specialist for Longmont Downtown Development Authority.

The evening is a ticketed event. Participants will receive a wine sampling glass, 10 one-ounce samples of wine and a map of participating businesses. 

As of publication, there were 14 businesses signed up for the event including:

  • Crackpots Pottery Studio 505 Main St.
  • Dee-O-Gee  110 Emery St.
  • Flatirons Bank 522 4th Ave.
  • Happy Day Plants  501 Main St.
  • Ivy Rose  520 Main St. # 1A
  • Longmont Yarn Shoppe 454 Main St.
  • Longmont Downtown Development Authority 320 Main St.
  • Primitive Country Loft House 337 Main St.
  • Wolf & Wren  332 Main St., Unit A1
