Entrepreneurship for All, or EforAll, Longmont is seeking aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners for its next All Ideas Pitch Contest.
EforAll pitch contests are fast-paced, fun community events that enable early-stage entrepreneurs to present their business idea in a 2½ -minute “pitch” and then answer questions by a panel of judges, according to a news release. Contests are free for entrepreneurs to apply and free for all to attend.
“Our pitch contests are a great way to test your idea, get feedback on your business, and potentially win a cash prize,” Harris Rollinger, EforAll Longmont executive director, stated in the release. “It’s never been more important to support small businesses and we are excited to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to receive support and enable the Boulder County community to come together and support each other.”
The pitch contest is open to anyone in the business idea stage, those looking to take a hobby to the next level or those looking to pivot and grow an existing business, according to the release. Business ideas across a wide range of industries are encouraged. The deadline to apply is Sept. 21. The pitch contest will be held via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8.
Prizes for the winners are $1,000 for grand prize winner, $750 for second place, $500 for third and $500 for the fan favorite (audience votes via text messaging). Prize winners will be decided by a lineup of judges who will be announced the week prior to the contest.
