A fan since Aperitivo opened, Donna Martino is the first winner of the Leader's Aperitivo gift card giveaway.
Aperitivo, 5530 Spine Road in Gunbarrel, is a self-proclaimed “global fusion restaurant, featuring cuisine from east to west.”
The restaurant partnered with The Longmont Leader and offered two $50 gift cards for giveaway in December. The first drawing happened Dec. 15 and Martino’s name was selected from readers signed up to receive the Leader’s daily newsletter. The next drawing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
Martino said she visited the restaurant shortly after its opening. We “have been hooked ever since,” she said. “The food is delicious and we love sitting outside.”
Martino, her husband and her friend met for an early dinner on Saturday. They said some of their favorites to choose from include the truffle Parmesan fries, the pan-seared salmon and the Caesar salad.
“My husband, friend and I enjoyed our meals very much. I'm having the leftovers today! My friend even ordered the Christmas meal. My husband and I have been trying to support local restaurants as best as we can, and will make sure to keep Aperitivo in our rotation,” Martino said following their trip to Apertivo.
