COVID-19 has hit all industries hard, especially the food service industry. Local distilleries are creating new ways to give back and to stay in business.

Longtucky Spirits, located at 350 Terry St. Ste. 120, is offering 500ml of 72.5% alcohol per household per week from their distillery. Patrons must bring their own containers. Alcohol can be picked up Tuesday through Saturday 2-7 p.m.

Dry Land Distillers is hosting a number of events including a virtual Happy Hour. This Happy Hour will be a webinar hosted from Dry Land Distillers' tasting room, located 471 Main St. Unit B. Mixologists will share tips, techniques, and examples of cocktail preparation, design, and tasting.

The first webinar will focus on the Smoky and Spicy Margarita and the Old Fashioned. The prepared mixes are free at the Alley Door with the purchase of a bottle. Muddler, cocktail shakers, spoons, and strainers are also available for purchase. Tips/donations for staff are appreciated.

To reserve a Dry Land Distillers margarita mix (enough for 2 margs) and/or a cocktail kit before Friday, email [email protected] and reserve (up to two of each kit per person).

All sales and cocktail mixes will be available at the Alley Entrance from 11 – 5:30 starting Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
