Longmont, CO:  On Thursday, September 28th, Longmont Economic Development Partnership and Boulder County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host an information session to educate local businesses about a new round of funding available through the Recover Colorado Business Program, and to provide assistance in navigating the process to pursue funding through the program.

Funds are available for small businesses and non-profits in Boulder County who suffered substantial economic harm from the September 2013 floods and ongoing disaster caused road closures. The program can reimburse for loss of revenue, destruction or loss of inventory, destruction or loss of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. Business owners that were impacted by the floods in 2013, or who have experienced a loss of revenue since as a result of road closures related to recovery and reconstruction efforts are encouraged to attend the information session on September 28th, as there will be resources there not only to provide information about the new round of grant funding, but also to provide assistance in starting the application process.
