Dear Longmont EDP Partners,

Longmont EDP's Executive Committee and COO have had conversation to review Longmont EDP's response to COVID-19.  We are monitoring county, state and federal agencies and other credible sources daily.  Much of the information we have read includes warnings concerning gathering in large groups and contact with others.  For the safety of our staff and partners we will heed these precautions carefully.

What this means:

  • All meetings currently scheduled or to be scheduled at the Advance Longmont Center with 20 or more people will be cancelled or postponed.  We will also be postponing the Commercial Brokers of Longmont meeting that was scheduled for March 18th and our All Investor Board meeting that was scheduled for April 13th.
  • Staff will have regular contact with our Executive Committee to review local, state and federal agency requests and restrictions for public meetings.  We will resume normal activity as soon as we know it is the responsible action.

We understand the concern and uncertainty around COVID-19, the infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.  As we learn more, we promise to keep you updated.
Along with our Advance Longmont Economic Partners (Longmont Area Chamber of CommerceLongmont Downtown Development AuthorityVisit LongmontSmall Business Development Center), we are closely monitoring developments of Federal Programs for Small Business and Employee Relief.  We will pass this information to you as soon as possible.
