The annual PEAK Expo 2018 returns on Thursday, September 27. Registration for the event is limited.

According to the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce's website (LACC), "PEAK 2018 is an annual exposition and reverse vendor trade show designed to showcase the region’s growing industries of technology, manufacturing, and distribution." To see a short video visit

A partnership between LACC and Rocky Mountain Government Association (RMGA) makes this expo unique due to RMGA's ability to bring "government entity representatives to participate in a Reverse Vendor Trade Show," states the LACC website.

The schedule for the event is as follows:

  • 7 – 10 am: PEAK exhibitor set-up
  • 10 – 11:30 am: “How to Get Government Contracts”
  • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: PEAK EDU Elementary Tour (Innovation Sponsor Exclusive)
  • 12 pm – 1 pm: “OSHA Accident Reporting” Session and Lunch
  • 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Reverse Vendor Trade Show (RVT)
  • 4 pm – 6 pm: PEAK Exhibition Opens

The event will be all day and located at the Plaza Convention Center, 1850 Industrial Circle, Longmont.

Mosquito Spray Schedule for August 30, 2018

The City of Longmont has scheduled a mosquito spraying during the nighttime hours of Thursday, August 30, 2018. The areas affected by the spray include:

  • LM-22   Sandstone Ranch
  • LM-23   Longmont, Union Reservoir
  • LM-27   Great Western / Mill Village
  • LM-28   St. Vrain Greenway

The code corresponds to a boundary map that can be seen on the West Nile virus web page.
