Left Hand Brewing and Team Left Hand have been raising money for Multiple Sclerosis since 2008. This year they are releasing a new brew, Wheels Gose ‘Round, in their Tasting Room on Saturday, May 19th. One dollar from every pint sold during May will be donated to the fundraiser hosted by Team Left Hand.

Wheels Gose 'Round' is "a raspberry and lemon gose brewed to raise awareness about Team Left Hand Bike MS Rides and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society," is stated in the Left Hand Brewing Hand Signals Newsletter.

According to Ashley Vander Meeden, media manager of Left Hand Brewing Company, "Team Left Hand is a group of employees and friends dedicated to solving the riddle that is Multiple Sclerosis. Nearly 600 participants annually raise funds and collectively ride thousands of miles across Colorado, the Carolinas, Florida, Ohio, Texas and California. Funds raised fund research, advocate for change, and help people living with MS. Join us in making a difference in the lives of people living with MS."

"Team Left Hand is proud to report over $3M in funds raised for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through Bike MS in their mission to help others with the disease lead productive lives," continues Vander Meeden.

The Colorado chapter of Team Left Hand will participating in their 11th ride June 23-24. "Riders will travel through quaint towns and backroads where they will enjoy rolling terrain or tackle the mountain climbs surrounding Horsetooth Reservoir before ending at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Each day has multiple route options, all of which are fully supported with stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles and a great lunch stop," is mentioned on the Team Left Hand website. The route will begin and end at Front Range Community College Westminster.

"Rally for our Rights" A Demonstration in Support of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

"Rally For Our Rights - Longmont" will be hosting a demonstration on Saturday May 19, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at the intersection of Hover St. and Nelson Rd. The demonstration is in support Right to Keep and Bear Arms and is a call to all Second Amendment supporters to join in to carry signs, banners and flags. This demonstration is a non-permitted event "exercising our First Amendment right to protest on public sidewalks," states the "Rally For Our Rights - Longmont" Facebook post.

Event organizers encourage protesters to bring: enthusiasm, signs that focus on the Second Amendment and how many of the gun control laws turn law abiding citizens into criminals and American, historical, and patriotic flags.

However demonstrators are discouraged to bring Confederate, Anarchy, Trump, or other political propaganda flags or off topic signs or banners, or anything advocating or attacking a particular political party or ideology beyond the Second Amendment.

"This is a single focus/issue event with participants from various political parties and with differing ideological beliefs. Please be respectful and courteous of your fellow Second Amendment supporters," is requested in the Facebook post. The Facebook also states,

"This is not an open carry protest, but you can open carry if you'd like. Open carry is legal in Longmont! Firearms must be holstered or slung and should be secured; and if concealed, properly permitted."

A fundraiser for the Longmont Humane Society will also be a part of this event. Event coordinators are asking for donations of dog and cat food (dry or wet), blankets, dog beds, poop bags, and cash donations. Cash donations can be given to event organizers during the event. A truck will be parked and clearly marked where donations can be dropped off before, during, and after the event.
