Bearded Brewer located at 1425 S. Airport Rd #100 will open its doors on Saturday with a celebration of exceptional beer and camaraderie.
The brewery began in Omaha, Nebraska by Kirk and Alyssa Hearon. The couple always wanted to expand to Longmont due to close ties with high school friend Brandon Knudsen, who is the co-owner of Ziggi’s Coffee and partner in Beadered Brewer.
"One of the unique things about Bearded Brewer is we don't want to put ourselves in a category where we're always offering the same thing. We like to be aggressive; we like to be experimental. We don't have a goal of how many beers we're going to make in a year - our goal is to make a great product and continue to be creative. Some of the more popular beers may stay around, but if I have 14 beers on tap, 10 will usually be new,” said Kirk Hearon.
The Longmont location will have 18 beers on tap and the ability to brew on-site. The owners value their ability to create and innovate new beer flavors to surprise and delight their customers, according to a news release.
“Bearded Brewer Artisan Ales is more than just a brewery; it's a place founded on a love of beer and a love of people,” the Hearons said.
A grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday. Angry Hippie Tacos food truck will be on-site during the event.
