The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office and University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business have partnered to launch a new dashboard to provide important information to Colorado businesses.

The Colorado Business and Economic Indicator Dashboard will be a summary and dissection of the quarterly Economic Indicators Report, produced by the Secretary of State’s Office and the Leeds School of Business.

“This has been a valuable partnership for Leeds, providing us with a better understanding of business health and a platform to share economic information broadly to the business community,” Brian Lewandowski, Executive Director of the Business Research Division at Leeds School of Business, said in a news release.

The CBEI Dashboard presents economic statistics that are updated monthly in an interactive format. The dashboard is designed to be user friendly and contains a multitude of graphs detailing different economic indicators and has several different filters to select and view the data. Some of the metrics used include GDP, employment, wages and consumer prices.

“The business environment is dynamic and getting timely economic information is vital to making important business decisions,” said Secretary of State Jena Griswold in a news release.

Data accrued by the Secretary of State’s Business Intelligence Center provides valuable information about startups and business health in the state.

“The Colorado Business and Economic Indicators (CBEI) Dashboard couples business filings data with other state and national economic metrics and presents the data in a highly interactive and engaging visualization,” Lewandowski said.
