Parry's Pizza Celebrates Grand Re-Opening on May 12, 2018

Parry's Pizza located at 1232 S. Hover Rd., Longmont will be hosting their Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The re-opening is to celebrate their two year anniversary at this location.

Parry's Pizza located at 1232 S. Hover Rd., Longmont will be hosting their Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The re-opening is to celebrate their two year anniversary at this location.
"This party is the team’s way of honoring all of the neighbors and residents they have met in Longmont these past couple of years," states a press release from Parry's Pizza. "Come hungry and you’ll have a chance to win free pizza for a year!"
Parry's Pizza chose to call the event a re-opening instead of an anniversary because "We feel that with all of the new residents and businesses that have moved into this community, some might not know about us. We offer a unique experience centered around very common products—pizza and beer. So what better way to reintroduce Parry’s to the community than to showcase it all (plus so much more) on one great day," states Keniey Sonley, director of marketing at Parry’s.
The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. with special tappings from Oskar Blues, Alaskan Brewing, and Wibby Brewing (including the recently released Lightshine Radler).
Also attending the party is DMK Rehoming, a dog rescue. DMK Rehoming will be on site with some furry friends that are available for adoption.
To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun, we’ve included the schedule below:

  1. 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. - DMK Re-Homing and a rep from Alaskan Brewing will be onsite with some furry friends to adopt. Husky IPA will be on draft and a portion of proceeds will go back to DMK Re-Homing.
  2. 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Wibby Brewing will be in the house talking up all that is great about craft beer brewed in Longmont as well as some Slam Dunkel! Get in on this one-of-a-kind bar game straight outta Wibby’s tap room.
  3. 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Face painting on the patio for all ages (weather permitting)
  4. 1:00 p.m. - “Pie eating contest” where those that can eat the most slices from an 18" pizza get free pizza for a year (that’s one 14” pizza per month)
  5. 4:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. - Live music from Casey Clark, a country/southern rock singer/songwriter from Texas
  6. 5:00 p.m. -dough juggling contest where participants will be timed while they juggle three dough balls. The winner will receive  free pizza for a year (that’s one 14” pizza per month)

According to Sonley, "We’ll use our 18” Lil’ Avery’s Cheese pizza for this contest. Those that can eat the most slices from this pie will get free pizza for a year! There very well could be multiple winners!"
