In an effort to stay in business, Roundhouse Fitness is looking to raise a minimum of $9,500 by the end-of-day on March 1st.

The gym, which is coming up on their one-year anniversary, needs to let their landlord know whether they will be staying or not at their current location and will be hosting a silent auction, today, February 27, 2018, and tomorrow, February 28, 2018, to raise the amount needed to renew their lease.

So far, Roundhouse Fitness has collected "about half" of the $9,500.

Kimberly King, who co-owns the gym along with her husband and three other families, stated that they are "completely tapped out."

"We funded this entire thing," said King. "We don't owe anybody anything and we've come to the end of our resources."

In the event that the member-funded gym cannot raise the funds, King stated that they may "transition to another space."

Roundhouse Fitness also launched a GoFundMe on February 13, 2018, to raise $50,000. To date, they have raised $415 through the online fundraiser.

King stated that the $50,000 will help them stay in business "almost another year."

"We're just really hoping that someone will buy us a little bit of time because I believe in our staff and our members that we are going to come up with a way to make it happen," said King.
