Robyn Cronin, co-founder of Wonder Press, invites customers to try its cold-pressed juice.

Robyn Cronin, co-founder of Wonder Press, traveled to California in 2013 with two of her childhood friends. While there the trio discovered juice shops, which was a foreign concept in Colorado. Cronin became obsessed with the idea and returned to the Boulder area determined to make the idea work.

Cronin began her career as a physician assistant. Almost two years into the training, she realized her true calling was to enhance people’s wellness instead of sickness intervention. Her training combined with more than a decade of working in restaurants and coffee shops gave her the confidence to begin a juice shop.

Wonder Press began as a popup shop before finding a storefront in Boulder. It later expanded to Denver at the beginning of the pandemic. When Ziggi’s Coffee switched their business model to focus on its franchise and drive-thru business, it closed its Francis Street location. The store was the perfect set up for Wonder Press to find a Longmont home, Cronin said. The store is located at 1139 Francis St.

“Many of our customers who drive into Boulder from the north and east have asked us to create a presence here. Longmont is a vibrant community and we believe Wonder’s premium nutritious products will add a unique offering for local residents,” Cronin said.

The juice shop had a soft opening a few days before Thanksgiving. It is now ready to welcome all of Longmont into the store to try its juices, coffees and locally sourced breads.

The juices are made from 100% organic produce and are cold pressed at Wonder Press’ production site, also in Longmont. The recipes for the juice were developed by Cronin. All of the juices have an abundance of vitamins and minerals and are developed to promote wellness.

Cronin said the staff is trained to understand the health benefits of each of the ingredients and can help customers decide on a juice that works best for them, although the staff are not trained doctors.

Wonder Press uses local ingredients as much as possible but also refrains from using processed or filler ingredients, Cronin said. The menu changes depending on the season and availability of produce with some staples always in stock. This winter, Wonder Press has a selection of broth that is fortified with vitamins and minerals used in the juices that are made.

Beginning Dec. 6, Wonder Press will offer six days of specials, ending on Dec. 10.
