City council incumbent Tim Waters moved into the lead over fellow incumbent Joan Peck in the race for Longmont Mayor Tuesday night, according to updated results from Boulder County.
With 8,149 votes counted, Waters had over 41% of the vote compared to over 39% for Peck, according to Boulder County. Gregory Harris had over 19% of the vote.
Peck also collected 61% of the 43 votes for mayor in Weld County, while Waters received 28%.
There are 67 votes in Weld County for the city council at-large seat.
In the at-large city council race, incumbent Aren Rodriguez, Shiquita Yarbrough and Sean P. McCoy continue to lead the field of six candidates in the update.
Updated results are scheduled to be posted at the Boulder County Elections website shortly after midnight.
