This year marks the second year the Longmont Skyline Kiwanis will host its fireworks display at Fox Hill Country Club and all are invited.

The Fox Hill Country Club, located at 1400 Co 119, is the highest spot in the city, which lends itself to the best views of the annual fireworks event hosted by the Longmont Skyline Kiwanis.

Gates at the club open at 5:30 p.m. with a concert by local favorite Hazel Miller beginning at 7 p.m. The fireworks are expected to begin at 9:15 p.m.

The event is open to the public if patrons walk into the event. Ticketed parking for the event is sold out. Event organizers state that the course paths will be closed to walking and viewing. Parking is not allowed at the UCHealth Hospital, the neighborhoods adjacent to the Fox Hill Country Club Golf Course or along Co 119.

Those who attend the show at the Fox Hill Country Club can view the fireworks from the driving range. Event coordinators recommend attendees bring chairs, blankets, bug spray and dress appropriately. Outside food will not be allowed as food trucks will be available.

Those who choose to view the show from afar can do so from Sanstone Ranch, Union Reservior, Clark Centennial Park, Stephen Day Park or the Jim Hamm Nature Area. Parks will remain open until 11 p.m. on July 4.
