Boards and Commission Appointees Approved by Longmont City Council

The City of Longmont has 22 citizen-based boards, committees, and commissions that ensure that the City of Longmont is addressing the needs of the Longmont community. These boards allow for more than 160 citizens to serve the community.

Citizens must apply for the board of their choosing based on vacancies at the time. These vacancies are posted online by the city clerk's office.

To apply for a board, the applicant needs to be a registered voter within the city limits of Longmont for a year prior to being appointed.

After an interview, the list of suggested appointees goes before city council for final approval.

On Tuesday, December 17, the Longmont City Council approved the following list of appointments:
