Boulder County GOP host forum for candidates

Republican candidates for key federal and state legislative seats are scheduled to attend a morning meeting at the Boulder County Republican headquarters in Longmont on Wednesday, May 4.

The “coffee and conversation” meeting is scheduled for 7 a.m. at the GOP HQ at 425 S. Bowen St., No. 1. Boulder County Republicans want the candidates to “share why they are running, their platform, and why you should support them,” according to the GOP newsletter. 

The event is free for the public.

The candidates scheduled to attend are:

 

  • Marshall Dawson, running for the 2nd Congressional District, currently held by Joe Neguse.
  • Willion D’Oreo, running for State House District 10, currently held by Edie Hooton.
  • Tara Menza, running for State House District 11, currently held by Karen McCormick.
  • Anya Kirvan, running for State House District 12, currently held by Tracey Bernett.
  • Katie Lehr, running for State House District 49, currently held by Republican Michael Lynch.
  • John Caldwell, also running for State House District 49.
