Boulder County Mobility for All offering transportation smartphone app workshops

The workshops aim to make transportation options more accessible for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers in Boulder County.

Boulder County Mobility for All this month is offering virtual transportation-related smartphone application workshops. The workshops aim to make transportation options more accessible for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers in Boulder County, according to a news release. 

All workshops incorporate safe traveling precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic to protect yourself and others during travel, according to the release.

Virtual workshops are being offered in English in July, with Spanish language workshops to be scheduled in August. 

Participants will need an internet connection, computer and smartphone for the free workshops that will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates. Register by clicking on the links below:

Wednesday — noon to 1:30 p.m. Accessing RTD Using Apps

July 22 — Using Lyft

July 29 — Using Uber

Once registered, participants will receive instructions on how to join the class from their computers, tablets or phones. Attendees will receive credits to use with the transportation apps covered in the series, according to the release.
