Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center announces new leadership

Dr. Savita Ginde will be CEO and CMO of Colorado’s oldest abortion clinic

The Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center has named a new chief executive and chief medical officer.

The nonprofit center announced on Thursday the Dr. Savita Ginde would take on the role.

Ginde has been a board member for the organization since January 2020, according to her LinkedIn profile. She served as president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Medical Consulting Colorado for almost nine years and spent more than 13 years at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.

“Dr. Ginde’s leadership will be invaluable as we navigate our new post-Roe reality,” the announcement said.

Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center was founded in 1973 as the first abortion clinic in Colorado and now offers a variety of reproductive and sexual healthcare services for people of all genders with clinics in Longmont and Boulder.
