As you drive east out of Longmont on Ken Pratt Blvd, you may notice a sign with an arrow directing you to a new development called Harvest Junction.
Harvest Junction is actually two separate development projects according to the city’s planning and development services department. Watermark at Harvest Junction consists of three buildings of multifamily apartment units with a planned common clubhouse and park. It is located just south of Ken Pratt Blvd and east of Sunflower Bank and Panda Express. Of the 276 units planned, there will be 132 one-bedroom units, 108 two-bedroom units and 36 three-bedroom units, with an average unit size of 1,000 sq ft. Although rental prices have yet to be announced, nearby prices suggest units will range from $90 0 to $1500 per month.
The second project called Harvest Junction Village, is east of the Longmont recreation center and north of Quail Road, and will consist of 277 single-family homes constructed by Richmond American Homes. Each house will have 3 to 7 bedrooms, approximately 1900 to 3300 sq ft in size. Prices are also forthcoming. Construction at this second site has required Quail road to be closed between east of the recreation center and west of the next neighborhood on the road; the road will be closed until mid‑December.
