City Council looks at historic preservation in joint session

City Councilors and members of the Historic Preservation Commission are scheduled to meet in a joint session Tuesday night that is open to the public.

The joint session begins at 5:30 p.m. “Policy issues related to proposed historic preservation ordinance amendments” is the topic to be discussed.

At the end of the  session, councilors will convene for a study session at 7 p.m., which is also open to the public.

 

CORRECTION: The story previously stated the council and Historic Preservation Commission met in an executive session. The meeting was a joint session and the public was invited.
