The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and use tax division analysis of taxes for the month of September 2017.

According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of September 2017 was $5,361,080, which is an increase of 2.1% from September 2016’s $5,252,183. Current sales tax collection has increased 3.6% while current use tax collection has increased 18.7%.

So far, 2017 has seen total sales and use tax through September increased by 12.6%.
