City of Longmont phones are down as of 7:15 a.m. this morning, Oct. 7. City staff is working with the phone provider to find out more information, including an estimated time frame before phone service is restored, according to a city of Longmont news release.

Century Link switched over fiber optic lines earlier this week, the news release states.

Residents are encouraged to check back on the city website for more information.
