Local, state and federal officials are scheduled to attend the 13th Legislative Breakfast on Jan. 6, hosted by the Louisville-based Commuting Solutions, which advocates for transportation alternatives in the northwest metro corridor.
Gov. Jared Polis, U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper Colorado Department of Transportation Executive Director Shoshana Lew is slated to be joined by local government and transportation leaders to discuss upcoming legislative priorities, said Audrey DeBarros, Commuting Solutions Audrey DeBarros.
“We’re virtually convening all the leaders from the transportation, private, public and nonprofit sectors from across the region to discuss important topics regarding transportation in the northwest metro region,” DeBarros said in a news release. “We will be able to hear their thoughts and priorities before the legislative session begins.”
Specifically, speakers will discuss the infrastructure investment and Jobs Act, their priorities for transportation and climate change, overall state priorities and more, DeBarros said.
The Legislative Breakfast will be held virtually over Zoom on Jan.6 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. There will be opportunities for questions and answers during the call, according to the news release.
