The Longmont City Council will meet with Lexi Nolan, deputy director of Boulder County Public Health, on Friday at 4 p.m. to discuss the latest uptick in COVID-19 numbers.

City council members asked for the meeting with Nolan as they are considering returning to virtual meetings. The council has been holding its regular meetings and work sessions in-person over the past several months while also wearing masks as ordered by Boulder County Public Health.

The city will live stream this virtual meeting on its YouTube account at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH5_wkpLrKYb1JuUk6-UdNg

Residents will also likely see the meeting later in the day on the city council’s agenda portal, Sandi Seader, assistant city manager, said via email.
