About Crafternoon Challenge
Crafternoon Challenge is a weekly craft that kids of all ages can do (although it's specifically geared toward pre-school and early elementary aged kids).

Do This Week's Challenge
See the instructions below to gather your supplies, or if you don’t have the supplies you need at home, pick up a kit at the Library's Curbside Delivery, 409 4th Ave. (while supplies last). Then, see the instructions below to make this week's craft!

Supplies:

  • Red paper plate
  • Black construction paper

Instructions:

Ladybugs are cute beetles and so fun to make! When you are outside, see if you can find any ladybugs.

  1. Cut a small wedge out of the plate to make the ladybug’s wings.
  2. Glue black paper to the back of the wings to make the ladybug’s body.
  3. Cut small circles and glue them to the wings.
  4. Cut an oval for the head and glue on eyes and antennae. Glue the head to the body.
  5. Cut six strips of black paper about ½ inch x 5 inches. Fold them accordion style and glue them to your ladybug.
