Each week, Ms. Leigh prepares a variety of themed arts and crafts activities for you and your child to explore materials and creation techniques.

Next week, Wednesday, November 3, is a Late Start Day for our SVVSD families. That means you are welcome to bring your elementary-aged children with you to DIscovery Days!

Next week, November 3, 4, & 4 we will:

  • Increase hand eye coordination by spong stamping in a row
  • Practice pencil grip by drawing lines with markers
  • Work on our cutting skills by cutting on lines
  • Increase hand strength by using shape punch machines
  • Practice pinching and placing pieces

Sensory experiences you may encounter:

  • Sticky glue on fingers
  • Sticky tape on fingers
  • Wet paint
  • Wearing an apron to keep clean while painting
  • Wearing a face covering/mask in the classroom
  • And as always, you can expect variety of noises and voices in the classroom: some joyful, some loud, some quiet, and some just learning how to navigate this world.

See you at the Museum!
